XnConvert

If you wish to convert your pictures or make some changes on them, XnConvert can make your work significantly easier. It lets you perform a wide range of operations on your images, without any difficulties. The application is designed for quick and effortless editing, a fact which you will notice when you start using it. You can find it for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux platforms and you can have it up and running in no time.

The application lets you work in stages, on separate tabs. Regardless of what you want to do with your images, the entire process will be similar. First, you have to import your pictures, either through a standard Open dialog or by dragging and dropping them, then you have to go to the next tabs to define one or more actions, set up the output parameters and start the process. Even with large numbers of images, you can be done in a matter of minutes.

Images can be edited by adding one or more actions to a list. The number of actions you can add is quite large, but you can find them easily, because they are neatly categorized in a system of sub-menus. Each action will add a different set of options to the list, for adjustments that are specific to the effect you add. For example, if you add an Exposure action, you will find a slider for increasing and decreasing the picture's exposure.

When you are done editing your photos, you may proceed to the next step and make your output settings. The images can be renamed according to a user-defined mask, converted to other formats and more. It is worth mentioning that XnConvert supports a huge range of image formats, including popular ones, like JPEG or PNG, as well as formats preferred by professionals, like Photoshop PSD or RAW.
